Ningxia: Strive for digital economy to account for about 36% of GDP by 2023

The General Office of the People's Government of the Autonomous Region recently issued the Implementation Plan of the Digital Ningxia 1244+N Action Plan. The Plan proposes to accelerate the construction of Ningxia Node, the national hub of the national integrated computing network, and the national (Zhongwei) new Internet exchange center, vigorously implement the "Four modernizations" project of digital industrialization, industrial digitization, digital government affairs and digital society, cultivate and introduce a number of enterprises producing and using digital, and the output value of the digital information industry will reach 85 billion yuan in 2023. The digital economy should account for about 36% of GDP (and more than 40% by 2027), and accelerate high-quality economic and social development in the region.


According to the plan, efforts will be made to implement digital industrialization projects, comprehensively upgrade information network infrastructure, extend 5G coverage to key parks, key places, administrative villages and other areas, and build 2,000 5G base stations, totaling 12,000. China accelerated the development of data center clusters by building five ultra-large data centers and adding 110,000 standard racks, bringing the total to 150,000, with the installed server capacity exceeding 1.25 million units. In terms of industrial digitization projects, we will accelerate the application of "5G+ industrial Internet", promote the construction of smart parks, build 15 smart factories and digital workshops, 30 industrial Internet platforms, and increase the number of cloud-enabled enterprises by 1,000. The integration level of the two technologies will reach 53.5, and the growth rate will strive to be in the forefront of the West.
