According to the survey data of the Association of Labor Economics, in 2023, cross-border e-commerce exports increased by 297.9 billion yuan, and 1.8 million new jobs were created, an increase of about 1 million people over the previous year.
In the context of traditional trade pressure, cross-border e-commerce, as the fastest developing, the greatest potential, the strongest driving role of the new foreign trade format, will show more powerful market vitality and growth resilience. According to the "14th Five-Year Plan" e-commerce development Plan, by 2025, China's e-commerce transaction volume will reach 46 trillion yuan, the national online retail sales will reach 17 trillion yuan, and the cross-border e-commerce transaction volume will reach 2.5 trillion yuan.
According to the professional version of the data show that as of now, there are nearly 20,000 enterprises related to cross-border e-commerce, of which, from January to April 2024, there are more than 2,400 newly registered related enterprises, up 29.5% from the same period in 2023;
From the perspective of geographical distribution, Guangdong, Shandong and Zhejiang, the three places have cross-border e-commerce related enterprises in the forefront, there are more than 6,700, more than 2,850 and more than 2,000;
In terms of establishment time, 54.6% of related enterprises were established within 1-5 years, and 30.2% of related enterprises were established within 1 year.
