Plywood is one of the common materials for furniture, one of the three major boards for man-made boards, and also for aircraft, ships, trains, automobiles, construction and packaging boxes. A group of veneer is usually glued together vertically in the direction of the wood grain of adjacent layers, usually with the surface and inner layers symmetrically configured on both sides of the central layer or core. The glued veneer is pressed in the direction of the wood grain in a staggered pattern with or without heat. The number of layers is generally odd, but a few are even. The difference in physical and mechanical properties in the longitudinal and transverse directions is small. Commonly used types of plywood are triple plywood, plywood, etc. Plywood can improve the utilization rate of wood, which is a major way to save wood.
