Founded in 2005, Helan Qingxue Wine Estate is located in the eastern foothills of Helan, Ningxia, in the Ningxia Grape Industry Technology Demonstration Park. With the purpose of high starting point, high standard and high speed, the winery builds a window and platform integrating scientific research, training, quality supervision, publicity and display, and strives to enhance the image of the wine production area and the product and the whole of the eastern foot of Helan Mountain, and promotes Ningxia grapes. The industry develops healthily and rapidly. The first phase of the winery planted 100 acres of grape variety gardens and introduced 16 grape lines from France and other places. The wine brands produced include "Gaberan" and "Helan Qingxue", etc., which won the first prize of the first Yantai International Wine Quality Competition in 2007 , 2008 Gold Medal of the 3rd Asian Wine Quality Contest, 2008 Silver Medal of the 9th China Wine and Spirits Tasting Award, Jie Baina dry red in 2009 won the seventh place in the "Top 100 Wine Awards" in the 2010 Ruby Award.
The total investment of the winery is about 15 million yuan. At present, there are 400m2 in the brewing workshop and 550m2 in the underground wine cellar. In 2010, the wine production capacity reached about 30 tons, the sales reached 1.85 million yuan, the tax payment was 380,000 yuan, and the profit was 150,000 yuan.
Ningxia wine grape cultivation has unique advantages of light, heat, land and water resources. Since the implementation of the national origin product protection in the eastern foothills of Helan, it is the third country's recognized wine origin after Changli in Hebei and Yantai in Shandong.
